Sunday
The only thing I dressed on Sunday was my table with these beautiful tulips and my Christmas runner that I turned over (it has a green/red print on the other side) - love the versatility!
One of my kids had come down with some illness at the beginning of last week and I eventually caught it. By Sunday, I just needed a day on the sofa, which is exactly what I did while watching season 3 of The Traitors UK.
Monday
Monday was pretty warm (83F) so I took it as an opportunity to wear a hot weather go-to outfit - a cropped black tank top under a black maxi slip dress. I’d normally wear sandals with this outfit (brown fisherman’s or Birkenstocks) but I decided to change it up a little and wear my suede sneakers (with some low grey socks).
The socks and sneakers made the bare shoulders feel unbalanced to me so I tied a grey sweatshirt around my shoulders, which I ended up actually wearing over the dress later in the day.
I accessorized with a long memade necklace that complimented the long line of the dress and I put my hair up into a high ponytail, which is a go-to hairstyle when it’s hot outside and my hair will just get frizzy anyways!
Comfort - 10/10; Style - 10/10; Fun - 9/10 - I don’t ABSOLUTELY love this outfit even though it’s one that I’ve worn a lot in the past and will also wear a lot in the future, but it’s important to have these outfits for backup!

Tuesday
This is also a go-to outfit, and one that I do ABSOLUTELY love!! I’ve worn the cardigan/tank top/belt combo many times before. In the winter, I’d pair it with my leopard print shoes but now that it’s warmer, I really like how it looks with my suede sneakers and ivory tote bag.
The only other accessories were a pair of dangly statement earrings and the ring that I got when I visited my mom last year.
Earlier in the day, I had to run an errand that took me close to one of my favorite consignment shops, so I dropped in and I found a white tank top, an item that I had on my S/S wishlist that became my 9th low buy purchase!
We had a family birthday to celebrate this day so we went out for dinner in the evening, followed by ice cream cake and gifts back at the house.
